Norwin Ninjas Light Up Night
The Norwin Ninjas karate class celebrated downtown Irwin during the annual Light Up Night parade celebration for North Huntingdon. Norwin Ninjas is part of the Allegheny Shotokan Karate School located on Rt. 30 in North Huntingdon.

Team Kumite Ninjas

Norwin Ninjas Kick It!
Norwin Ninjas perform at the Kumite Classic Pittsburgh, PA as part of the Allegheny Shotokan Karate Club lead by Sensei Bill Viola Jr. The karate for kids class is specialized for 4 year olds, 5 year olds, 6 year olds and 7 year olds. It is has been recognized as the best karate school in the are for children in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas of North Huntingdon, Irwin, Greensburg and Monroeville. PA Martial Arts Champions
Congrats to all the Allegheny Shotokan, Norwin Ninjas, and Team Kumite members for winning the PA Martial Arts Championships in New Castle, PA. Parker, Ethan, Colten, Luke, Ryan, Gavin & Austin, Sidney, Marie and Liz. PS, special congrats to Luke Lokay for winning his first Grand Championship! Next stop Grand Slam NBL in VA. Good Luck

Party Time
The annual Christmas Party was a big hit. Congrats to Gary Klos who won the obstacle course for the second year in a row, beating out Billy Leader by less than a second. The food was great, we appreciate the wonderful group of parents who helped out this year. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. No class next Monday. Have a nice holiday break.
Ninja Promotions
Congrats to Ethan, Parker and Gavin for passing their test! Shihan was impressed with their intensity! Look for them to make some noise at tournaments in 2012.
Light up the night
Allegheny Shotokan Karate and Norwin Ninjas participated in the Irwin / North Huntingdon annual Light Up Night, November 17, 2011 downtown Irwin. Despite the bitter cold, the students had a great time. Cameron Klos and Sara Russell lead the team as they marched through the parade. We look forward to the 2012 Irwin Light Up Night.
Zang Tae Kwon Do
Billy Leader wins 1st place in Men”s black belt division @ the Zang Tae Kwon Do Championship. Also representing the school was Norwin Ninja Colten who fought in the advanced division casino online as a white belt fought great. Billy and Colten were the only Japanese style competitors at the tournament. Master Zang put on a great event. Also, Happy Birthday to Shihan!
